Frequently Asked Questions About Project TGIF

Q.    I own a restaurant and would like to participate. How do I sign up?
A.    It's easy!  Click on the Sign Up! tab above and fax us your agreement.  We also provide a letter that can be sent to your existing grease collector to terminate your existing agreement.

Q.    I am concerned about changing grease collectors.  How do I know my grease will be picked up on time?
A.    We contract with Newport Biodiesel to pick up your grease.  Their staff will contact you and discuss where to place grease receptacles and how frequently you change your oil.  They are prepared to increase collections for businesses that are seasonal as well.

Q.    What type of grease receptacles do you provide?
A.    We provide several types of receptacles.  Check out the pictures below.

Q.    I am a RI resident.  How can I help?
A.    Residents can recycle their waste cooking oil at public receptacles located in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.  Click here to see our locations.
